Sorry, we
here at Eco-Goddess were confused there for a minute. We forgot that
we're extremist on this topic.
Earth Day is EVERY day here!
We work
our butts off to make sure that our business is run in the most
environmentally friendly way. Being the ONLY all organic full
service restaurant in the Roaring Fork Valley makes us stand
out.
But
wouldn't it be great if everyone else was too??
Let your dollars speak for you (as
we like to say "vote with your fork") by asking lots of
questions.
Where
does this food come from? Is it grown without synthetic fertilizers /
pesticides / fungicides, etc? How far did it come from? Do you know the
farmer? Is the money you paid for this food going back into the
community?
Were
there growth hormones used in the raising of the animals for dairy?
Don't
be afraid to be a pain in the ass!
It's one
of the most effective ways we can make change happen. Try it out on Earth
Day...
And, of course, we would love to see
all of you in Eco-Goddess "voting with your fork".
